If necessary, the “Home Follow-up” team, with the family’s agreement, prepares the placement of a child under its care. Its action must also contribute to preparing the child’s return to the family. Some children, whose families are supported at home, while not placed, are also enrolled either at the Saint Joseph Academic School or at the Technical School.

These children are in situations of danger, are orphans, or come from difficult social circumstances. The center offers a family-like, high-quality educational environment that fosters socialization, academic support, broad-based training, and openness to the world through participation in external activities. A strong link is maintained with the families. When the situation allows, the return home is prepared and jointly followed up by both programs. The Village of Friendship also focuses on preparing some young people for integration into the workforce.
